we had a fantastic time at our christmas party here! the room was spacious with a beautiful view of the canal, and the food completely blew us away. the staff were incredibly welcoming and made sure every detail was taken care of, exceeding my expectations from my previous stay in gloucester.

the mooring post offers large bedrooms that are very clean. the food at dinner and breakfast was top-notch, truly quality stuff. it's conveniently located with easy access from the main road while maintaining a relaxing atmosphere. the restaurant service stood out, providing a wonderful dining experience despite some delays. we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail that made our stay comfortable.

great stay but small salad

The staff was incredibly helpful and always ready to assist us. Our Luxury King Room was very comfortable, making our one-night stay enjoyable.

The large Caesar salad we ordered was not as generous as expected.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We hit the local attractions like the historical docks and a lovely park nearby. The room was spacious and comfy, which made our stay relaxing. Just a heads up , while there were minor flaws in service, it was overall a good experience. Totally recommend it for a group getaway!

One thing to note is that upon arrival, we noticed the carpet leading to our room was quite stained, which was a bit off-putting.

The decor was charming and welcoming, with lovely touches throughout that made me feel right at home. The garden views were delightful, and the peaceful walks along the canal were a lovely surprise for my leisurely morning.

More coffee options in the room, please.

We loved our stay in the family suite, especially with the thoughtful little extras like a coffee machine and dog biscuits! There’s a lovely dog walk along the peaceful canal. A cozy sun terrace to relax and unwind. The only hiccup was a slight mix-up with our dinner reservation, but it was sorted out quickly. 😊

Best food ever!

We stayed for 2 nights and loved it! The room was nice and unique. The jacuzzi was a real treat. Breakfast was super tasty with lots of choices. Reni from the bar was really helpful too! Only wished the check-in was a bit smoother, but overall, it was a fab weekend getaway.

During our short stay, we found the location to be quite convenient for accessing local attractions. Our luxury king room was clean and comfortable, which made our downtime very pleasant. The food in the restaurant was truly standout, adding a nice touch to the overall experience. the lack of breakfast facilities was disappointing, especially since we had placed our order in advance and it wasn’t fulfilled.

Gotta say the food here blew my mind, everything was fresh, the sausage was locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The breakfast had a huge pot of tea that just hit the spot, started our day right.
